NetEase Games has announced that Top Clans 2022 Winter Invitational is set to take place in late December.
Top Clans is one of the largest multi-game esports tournaments in Southeast Asia (SEA), with the Top Clans 2022 Summer Season matches garnering over 12 million views.
Moreover, the Top Clans 2022 Winter Invitational will be its largest to date, with players competing in Naraka Bladepoint, NetEase Games' Dead by Daylight Mobile, and Moonton's Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB).
Over 10 million copies of Naraka Bladepoint have been sold worldwide, and it has amassed a massive fan base in Southeast Asia. In November 2022, Top Clans collaborated with the China-ASEAN Education Cooper Week to host the Naraka Bladepoint ASEAN Challenge, in which more than 2,000 players from China and Southeast Asia competed. The Top Clans 2022 Winter Invitational will provide the opportunity for some of the best Naraka Bladepoint players in the world to compete on the battlefield.
The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Dead by Daylight Mobile invitational stages of the Top Clans 2022 Winter Invitational are slated to take place from December 21 to December 25 and from December 26 to December 31, respectively. The grassroots stage for both games is currently ongoing, with the top squads advancing to the invitational stage, where they will compete for a prize pool of USD 10,000 for each game. The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang grassroots tournament has upgraded its tournament structure for the Top Clans 2022 Winter Invitational by establishing six regional qualifiers in Cambodia, Thailand/Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Singapore/Malaysia. This was implemented to invigorate the competition, as each team competes to be the best in their country, resulting in exciting and intense games during the invitational phase of the event.
Dead by Daylight Mobile brings the game's tense gameplay and extensive features from the PC version to mobile devices, which has contributed to its success in Southeast Asia. Further, the Top Clans 2022 Winter Invitational will be the initial international Dead by Daylight Mobile tournament in the region, and we're excited to see players demonstrate their dedication to the game as they demonstrate their skill in The Fog.
